Peyia is built on a hillside above Coral Bay, and that is the whole story of a removal here. The village climbs, the roads hairpin, and the difference between one address and another half a mile away can be an hour of work.
The area has one of the densest British populations in the Paphos district, spread across the old village at the top, the newer developments on the slopes, and the strip down towards Coral Bay. Sea Caves and Agios Georgios sit further north along the coast.
Goods clear at Limassol and travel roughly 80 kilometres west, then climb. The motorway covers most of it comfortably. The last two miles do not.
Kathikas and Akoursos sit above Peyia on the way to the Laona plateau, and Coral Bay marks the southern edge of the area. All of it is served from Paphos, about twenty minutes away.
Collection address, delivery town, rough volume in cubic metres, move date and access notes at both ends.
The mover confirms the sailing, whether a part load or full container fits, the customs route and vehicle access.
A written quote, collection window, packing standard and delivery plan, direct from the company doing the work.
Bringing a household in from Britain runs through the third country process. Relief on used effects is claimed on form Aπ. 2, and getting the inventory right matters more than the form itself.
The whole position is set out on the Cyprus customs and transfer of residence page. None of this is fixed forever, so confirm with the Department of Customs and Excise for the current position rather than a removals page.
Many of the people who use this service live outside Britain. A moving company abroad and a removal firm in Britain do the identical work. It makes no difference to the quote or the container.
Often not the whole way. The approach roads into upper Peyia are steep with tight hairpins that a loaded articulated lorry cannot take. Goods are usually shuttled up by smaller van in two or three runs, which is normal here.
Some are reached by unmade tracks. They are manageable in dry weather and slower after rain. A photograph of the approach sent with your enquiry lets the mover bring the right vehicle first time.
About 80 kilometres west of Limassol, where household goods from the UK clear customs. The motorway covers most of that easily. The climb up from the coast road is the part that takes the time.
Yes. Villa driveways are often steep and short, ending at a gate rather than the door, so goods are carried the last stretch. It gets priced by distance and by crew size, and it should be in the written quote.
Mostly, yes. The developments along the coast strip are lower lying with better vehicle access than the upper village. Tell the mover which part of the area you are in, because they are not the same job.
Yes. Kathikas, Akoursos and the villages on the plateau above Peyia are served from the same route, on mountain roads that suit a rigid vehicle rather than an articulated one.
Both addresses, the date you want, and what is coming with you. An accredited moving company checks the detail and responds.
